The following is an article excerpt taken from the latest issue of Technology Today:

Syren Industries’ recent announcement of a next-gen TOTO left many in the tech community unimpressed. It’s long been said that Syren is a company lacking innovation—and their push for the Mark IV TOTO does nothing to dispel that claim. The Mark III—released five years ago—was designed for law enforcement purposes, but the units turned out to be so unreliable that they were seldom used. Frequent reports of the units’ inadequacies and staggering failure rates are widespread, making one wonder how Syren plans to market the Mark IV (allegedly to military contractors). Nevertheless, it’s unwise to count Syren out, as far as their stocks are concerned—if history has shown us anything, it’s that Syren has made a fortune selling the sizzle, but skimping out on the steak.
