Section 9.A – Security Personnel
As a school we are committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning, living and working environment for our students, faculty and staff.
Our security personnel are always on call and available on site for emergencies situations. Their duties include monitoring the surveillance cameras, safeguarding the school grounds from suspicious people and activity, protecting students and Sumter employees, and responding to any emergency that may arise.
Our security personnel also oversees the I.R.A. (Integrated Response Authority) System—which runs all automated functions within Sumter Academy and is capable of initiating a full lockdown of the building.
