Euphoria and the Heart

  • Euphoria can cause tachycardia (increased heart rate) and hypertension (high blood pressure), potentially leading to chest pain, heart attack, or stroke.
  • Like most pleasure drugs, Euphoria can induce arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat), including atrial fibrillation, which raises the risk of blood clots, strokes, and heart failure.
  • Long-term use can damage the heart muscle and increase the risk of sudden cardiac death.
  • Research shows that habitual Euphoria users may develop arterial stiffness and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a condition where the heart muscle becomes abnormally thick, obstructing blood flow and/reducing the heart’s ability to pump efficiently.
