That’s………………..not good. That’s not good at all, man!!!!!!!😱
Looks like someone’s replaying bits and pieces of old comm signals spliced together…or are they ?
Perhaps that black cloud is her finally getting hit with the consequences of driving herself too far for too long and starting to hallucinate ?
Or perhaps someone ‘slipped her a mickey’ ?
Sounds like someone trying to psych her out using recorded comms from when she was a mercenary. That’s from when she got bombed. And it looks like it’s having an effect.
and someone is named Satori
Took me a minute, but I just spotted that hidden message in the text.
Great art as always, the slide on her weapon lines up with her colar in just the sort of way to give me a headache trying to sort the placement out though, the muzzle doesn’t seem to be quite aligned with the trigger guard, like the frame is twisted, but I really can’t tell if it’s that or the collar forcing a different perspective…still, outstanding artwork for everything else and all the other pages, love the style.
The weapon does indeed look a little skewed from its current perspective. Both the trigger guard and the handle itself are visible, but the gun barrel’s length is not. It looks outright flat in this scene and thus conflicts with the attempted perspective. This can be easily corrected with a slight touch-up but only if the artist chooses to do-so.
^Can’t say I see any problem with the gun/perspective here, but maybe that’s just me.
