Wait, the doc is connected to Mads’ ex? Maybe a daughter or… the ex herself?
She survived the explosion but needed full reconstructive surgery, and she allowed Mads to believe she was dead because there were still people out to kill them both?
I don’t get any of that from this. I think Belanie just has her own personal history with someone, like what she was saying on the last page. I doubt it’s specifically connected to Madison’s past. It feels more like Belanie just wants to make sure Madison doesn’t go down that same bad road.
hmm why is the locket in her pocket instead of around her neck ? took it off to shower ? was her ‘chance encounter’ with Madison not so chancey ? These questions and more in the next exciting installment, stay tuned….
Well in the prior page she did say it’s going to kill you and I know how that ends.
She’s got a personal stake in not seeing what happened to whoever is pictured in that locket not happen to someone else.

Yeah, that’s probably more likely, but there is more to it than simply having a loved-one drive themselves to an early grave
Now, I wonder what the Doc’s past hides in that locket of hers?

Most doctors on duty are often required to not wear any accessories. Rings, watches, lockets and such, even nail polish.
Point, and one I should have considered, but her job there isn’t in a clinical setting so that might not apply.
