looks like Lillian Charla kept it longer than the due date, she must have been studying that book.
Better take pictures of each page in that book, have a feeling its going to disappear.
To reiterate a common sentiment, there’s no way that Lyn was drawn wearing *that* with tan lines at night, in front of a nude Irene, in full color, for *nothing* to happen. Snuggle bedtime bonding over a book session please!
In the first panel above, Lyn says the journal contains info on the building, so that’s clearly the reason for showing it to Irene. Also Irene’s a new teacher, so it’s probably just a friendly gesture or to get better acquainted.
It looks like some group has reset the calendar. It’s pretty rare, but significant historical events can cause societies to do this kind of reset. Since we don’t know what may have happened 291 years ago, we just have to roll with it and assume some big thing happened then for the sake of internal consistency.
You should read this book together. Because in this school, it doesn’t help much if only one person knows something.
Apart from snuggling, that is.
looks like lyn previously checked it out and returned it, so it’s a good bet shes already read it

3 of the people returned the book BEFORE it was checked out. I ponder at the significance.
Nah, they’re due dates and return dates. Either they’re returned on time (return before due) or overdue (return after due).
I like how the library card is the featured entry this week. Makes us feel like we’re seeing what Irene is seeing.

The name Rosamie there is important. The bitchy duo mentioned her before. Everything that’s happening is probably because of her.
Interesting that Lyn previously checked the book out and returned it
Those are some odd date formats. Care to explain?
And why did Lyn bring this book to Irene? Does she know she’s an undercover cop?
Hardly suspect Lyn thinks Irene’s undercover, but last page she mentioned how Irene was interested in the buildings architecture: https://dangerzoneone.com/comic/chapter-24-page-4/

Oh, I sure hope they get “better acquainted” and soon! XD

Freaking love seeing Irene. I hope she becomes one of the main characters from here on and this isn’t just a one-shot story arc for her.
