Pallad City’s Hyper Light Rail:
The Fast Track to the Future!
(Excerpt from Pallad City travel guide)
The Pallad City hyper light rail is a state-of-the-art urban transport system operated by Jennsen Railways. The rail line serves more than 8 million passengers daily and is well-known for its punctuality and comfort. With a reputation for efficiency, the hyper light rail departs on time, to the very second, assuring commuters that they will always arrive at their destination on schedule. In addition, passengers can be guaranteed a quiet ride, thanks to advanced noise suppression technology. Every train car has been carefully designed to provide plenty of space, along with the latest in temperature regulation technology.
The latest HLR40 hyper light rail vehicle can reach an 85-m.p.h. top speed, with each individual car able to hold 62 seated passengers. The HLR40 is capable of towing five train cars, for a total of 310 occupants. The hyper light rail is computer-operated, requiring no human engineer. It has proven to be one of the safest methods of transportation, with no accidents ever recorded.

Something tells me that this “hyper light rail” is not really as safe as advertised ~ we’re talking about the ^incalculable^ ^variations^ in how individual members of the public would be acting at any given moment on a route.
(Even MILITARY ^aircraft^, where occupants would be ^trained^ to react the same way ~ do NOT have a PERFECT safty record.)
Hopefully we never see Miss Bliss again, but of course she’s going to escape somehow and try to get her revenge.
I think Miss Bliss was the perfect antagonist. She’s the first villain that actually felt threatening.
“No accidents ever recorded” does not have to mean “No accidents, ever”
