WHY YOUR BLOCK COULD BE NEXT
Arie Skye, Pallad City Post

Mayor Neville’s highly touted “Renew Initiative” has recently set its sights on several districts throughout Pallad City, focusing on an extensive urban renewal plan. The formation of a new Urban Development Committee promises to completely restore sections of the city that have been neglected for the past several decades.

The UDC—spearheaded by renowned urban planner, Ward Egol—has stated that they are already evaluating several “problem” areas, and intend to rejuvenate some of Pallad City’s worst districts. For countless Palladians, the Ardus District is regarded as one of the city’s largest “slums,” many referring to the area simply as Slumland. A heavily populated residential area consisting of closely packed, decrepit housing units, the Ardus District has become the poster child for what the UDC hopes to fix. So far, the city’s budget or projected time frame for this endeavor have not been revealed.
