I want to know HOW they can let a tree THAT BIG grow so close to pavement, without the roots of the aformentioned tree “ripping” up said pavement !!
Probably the same way the large tree outside my house, right next to the pavement (which hasn’t been ripped up), has been there for over 26 years.

False. I have an oak over 200 years old next to my house. Provides excellent shade and makes pushy solar panel sales people cry with the canopy over my house from it.
