Patient: Madison Wynter
Police Physician: Raye Belanie, MD

[Examination Forwarded to Chief Hardiman]
Due to Ms. Wynter’s most recent injuries I’m requesting she be removed from active duty for two weeks. Previously, I suggested requiring her to take a few days off but—much to my disappointment and concern—this was never enforced. I also requested that her daily hours be shortened. Again, this has yet to happen.

At the very least, Ms. Wynter should be given less-physically demanding duties until she can fully recover. I’ve read her most recent case report, where she received injuries while physically engaging with three individuals who were under the influence of Afterlife. The medical examination, if you can call it that, lasted for all of five minutes before she left my office.

I expected, when accepting the position of Operational Police Physician, that I would have enough influence to ensure at-risk officers received the necessary time off and—should they refuse to comply—it would be within my power to deem such necessary time off mandatory. Apparently, this is not the case.

Days ago you mentioned that you would speak with Ms. Wynter. If you have not yet done so, I urge you to make time as soon as possible.
