Dorm Policies at Sumter Academy:

Sumter Academy implements a Fingerprint Identification System (FIS) for many reasons, among them privacy, security, and to better enforce this school’s dorm room policies.

Sumter’s FIS ensures that no student can enter another’s room without permission. This eliminates the need for physical keys, keycards, or smart locks, as each student is biometrically registered to their own shared dorm room.

Students can feel at ease knowing they may study in their own privacy and that personal belongings are always secure when they leave their room.
