Dr. Hastings’ Personal Notes
Private Journal Entry 201-D

The so-called “intellectuals” fail to realize that this world was never suitable for humanity. We delude ourselves into thinking that because we can breathe the air, this planet must be ours. How easily it is to neglect the incontrovertible fact that nearly 70 percent of the Earth is covered by water. And, of that magnificent number, only 2.5 percent is freshwater, drinkable by humans. Even more laughable, only a meager 1 percent is even accessible to us, with most of the freshwater frozen in snowfields and glaciers. Over 96 percent of all water on Earth is ocean-based, too salty for drinking, manufacturing, and even farming. Now, tell me, does that sound like a planet fit for humanity?

When the time finally comes to inject myself with BR-11, it will be true transcendence. I will no longer be part of this human travesty. After full transformation, I’ll be able to survive both in sea and on land. Many new strains were included in my latest variation, all of which were carefully selected to ensure near-perfect biological augmentation.

The thought of finally using it…that moment can’t possibly arrive soon enough.
