A noble effort by Belanie, but I don’t think that’s going to take Nihil out of the fight. Hopefully it buys Madison enough time to attack, if she’s even still able to.
I feel like Belanie is giving Nihil the opportunity to cuff Madison. It would be very strange if her attack did anything here.
Yeah, no way that’ll stop Nihil. Might not even slow her down. I think Belanie’s just acting on desperation. I have a feeling this won’t end well, and if Nihil manages to grab those handcuffs and restrain Madison, then Madison’s really done for.
We shouldn’t forget that Nihil is already injured, even if she doesn’t feel it.
As a doctor Belanie should know which areas are most vulnerable to damage. OTOH, she might be internally conflicted by her Hippocratic Oath – Do no harm.
I’m afraid Belanie is going to be hurt very badly. Maybe even killed by this cyborg-level fighter.
Belanie is smart enough to hold the cuffs like brass knuckles. My guess is that she goes for Nihil’s eyes, or the larynx.
Or, she gives her the same treatment Madi got…
That, or she may be going for a concussion solution: feeling no pain is very handy to push through damage that would incapacitating for a normal person with pain/shock, but getting your brain bruised and rattled against the inside of your skull isn’t as easy to ignore.
Let’s see if Cyborg still feels when she gets fisted with steel
Opening handcuffs is quite easy if you know how.
‘Double locks’ come off very easily.
I’ve shown a lot of new Officers just how easy many times.
That’s something they don’t teach in Basic and should.
Blind trust in a piece of equipment gets people hurt.
Th ‘antique’ ones with a tumbler lock were much harder to undo.
The most effective in many situations were ‘thumbcuffs’ but some politician decided those were ‘inhumane’ based on appearances and they were taken off scale.
Somehow, gettting shot while escaping seems to be a poorer choice.
Going by that pink glow in her eyes, somebody’s going to get fucked…over.
At this point even if Belanie and Madison double teamed her, I have my doubts they’d win. Clever idea using the handcuffs as brass knuckles, though.
Belanie rushing in to save the day.
