The following is an excerpt from the book, Sinister Urges: Drugs, Crime, and Justice, by Evie Brayer.

Once under the effects of Euphoria, a user will find themselves entering a sudden, overpowering state of arousal. Ingesting only a few drops of the substance may result in a slower reaction, but a full dose can bring about immediate sexual frenzy.

Even a small amount of Euphoria can be debilitating, especially for first time users. A rise in blood pressure, quickening of the heart, and rapid breathing are the initial effects of the drug. Skin will become flushed, followed by an increase of blood flow to the genitals. As the substance takes over, basic motor skills may become difficult due to involuntary shaking or twitching. Euphoria greatly intensifies the body’s sensitivity and the brain’s pleasure center during sexual activities—however, the longer a user either refuses intercourse or masturbation, the more physical strain the drug puts on them. Often the effects of the Euphoria will be so immense that the user may need to have multiple orgasms before gaining any substantial relief from the drug.

While on Euphoria, most users also experience a side-effect known as ‘Euphoria Eyes’ where a pinkish tint becomes noticeable around the border of the pupil and center of the iris. As a user is overtaken by the substance, the discoloration of the eyes will generally increase. After the effects of the drug subside, the user’s eyes will gradually return to normal.
