Dr. Hastings’ Personal Notes

I’ve modified the zebrafish DNA—dare I say, even improved upon it. The zebrafish’s regenerative abilities are already extraordinary, but I have managed to accelerate the healing capabilities to an almost instantaneous degree. This will be used in the BR-11 injection (I should have incorporated this into some of the test subjects—something to keep in mind for the future). With that said, I’ve found in my lab tests that the regenerative effects do take a strenuous toll on the organism…making simultaneous regeneration both prohibitive and potentially dangerous. There must be a way to circumvent this.

Even Logan does not regenerate that fast.
Piccolo does.
Is she like a starfish?? Can major pieces regenerate the rest of her?
I have to wonder what the circumvention is.
The most obvious cure for this monstrosity may be lurking in this wreck of a laboratory. It takes very little to generate a poison gas. In fact there are common substances found in biolabs that have specific instructions for use to _avoid_ the generation of phosgene.
Unless we’re using comicbook physics: the energy expenditure to insta-regen that much biomass is enormous. Without a significant energy source, she should be weakened / wobbly and ravenous. As the brain is the most energy-dependent organ, she should also have serious difficulty thinking.
I might’ve mentioned this a few pages back, but it bears repeating: I LOVE Dr. Hastings’ transformed design. It’s both sexy and horrific. As a lifelong HR Giger fan, that’s right up my alley.
I suppose she could be legally described the same way a swimming pool is, as an “attractive nuisance”.
